Ager Display Sand Hill
Building a sand hill in the Museum for the Ager Display was no small achievement: the project took three weeks in early 2009 to complete totalling up to 150 hours.
Under the guidance of local artists and museum volunteers layers and layers of newspaper and glue was built up until the desired effect was obtained.
The sand hill was part of the William Ager display.
In the 1930's William Ager intervened through his unorthodox methods to control elements on the beaches and this became a landmark in Australia's environmental history. |
