The Yamba Museum has much to offer these school holidays. You can explore  the recently updated displays of: Yaegl country; the building of the Breakwaters in the mighty Clarence River; the discovery and early settlement of Clarence Heads, later renamed Yamba.  Adults and older children will also appreciate the Surf Cult exhibition in the Old Kirk that explores local surfing culture.

Children are not forgotten with the recently installed Kid’s Deck – an area designed to occupy younger children with appropriate books and toys, quizzes and colouring activities. Parents can now more easily explore the museum while still monitoring their children.
