Visit Us
A visit to the Yamba Museum offers a deeper connection to the place we love. Here, you can step into the stories that shaped Yamba — from its rich maritime history and surf culture to the enduring traditions of the Yaegl people. Thoughtfully curated displays, tranquil grounds and the beautiful Yaegl Cultural Garden make the museum a peaceful and inspiring place to explore. Whether you’re a local, a history enthusiast or a visitor discovering Yamba for the first time, the museum provides a meaningful and memorable experience for all ages.
Group Tours
We enjoy welcoming local or coach tour groups and can offer a guided Museum visit plus, if required, a simple morning or afternoon tea in our delightful Function Room overlooking the Yamba Golf Course. Our guide can even join your bus to guide you around town. A per person cost is applicable for each of these 3 components, payable in advance. Please contact the museum, by email for details, or to make a booking.
School Groups welcome
Prior contact is required to customise a visit to suit your curriculum. Cost is $2 per student, payable as a lump sum.
Accompanying teachers and required adult supervisors are cost free.
